Hilton Garden Inn Orlando East/UCF Area

Uncontrollable noise until 2:30 a.m. January 2024 Our family had a rough two nights. There was uncontrollable noise, swearing, etc outside our window. Finally, at 2:30 a.m. they called the front desk. The front desk said it is something that happens often and is difficult to control. It was finally quieted on Friday night. But, the same thing happened on Saturday night! It seems there is a lack of security in this hotel. The rooms need to be updated rather than covered up. There were no grab bars and the toilet was so low to the ground that one had to grab the corner of the wall just to get up! Re: Uneditable Breakfast . . . Nothing was made fresh, but made hours ago and COLD. Eggs, Potatoes, Sausage, Bacon, Oatmeal. It was a total waste and on the second day, we just skipped eating there. The only nice thing at this hotel was the housekeeper!

The place was nice , but the shower was cold for at least 10 minutes of my shower . When my family and I would go out for dinner around 7:45 pm , there was always people sitting in their cars smoking weed and drinking. Seems if they had rooms at this place they would be inside. The room and inside of the Hotel was very nice and updated.

The stay was great, as was all of the employees. They were all very courteous, and very attentive, I do however have a problem with your rewards policy. I booked my stay through Priceline, and because of that I was denied any honors points as a loyal member of the Hilton family. Which will cause me to question whether or not I will continue to use this Hotel Chain. Regards Isaac Cobb

Worst experience I ever had and that too with a name fame hotel like Hilton. Our flight got delayed by 4 hours like that, we reached around night 3, and they didn't allow us to check in for the previous day or for the next day. Also, they told that they canceled our booking, when we connected to expedia to cross check and expedia called to hotel to confirm, then they told manager need to tell within 72 hours. Wasted our trip night sleep and paid more in another hotel and in dilemma upto the morning for the refund

I'm only giving two stars because the front desk staff tried to address our issues during our stay, but only after I told them I would be reviewing the hotel. Though we are Hilton Honors members, we normally do not stay at Hilton Garden Inns. Because of Hurricane Idalia, we thought we would need to travel with our pets. Fortunately, our power was restored prior to our departure, and we were able to travel to Orlando without our pets. Unfortunately, we were still put in a pet room. The odor of pets was thick in the air, and we requested a different room. We were moved to a different room, but I think it was a pet room as well. We sneezed the majority of our stay; however, that was not our only problem. When I walked in the bathroom, I was disgusted to discover there were brown stains from some liquid, running down the wall of the tub. The front desk clerk sent a gentleman up to try to clean the stains, and he explained that the stains were coming from the wall that leaked when it was wet. That was disgusting, even though he explained that the liquid was not harmful. He promised that workers would come and caulk the wall the next day, but I was unable to verify this occurred. I was also displeased with some of the stains on the carpet. In addition, a front desk clerk tried to tell me that I could not request housekeeping. She told me that they did housekeeping every other day, and when I mentioned that they would be housekeeping on the day that I checked out and that I planned to review the hotel, she said that she would try to see what they could do. Our room was indeed cleaned the next day. Overall, I just don't like Hilton Garden Inns, and the one we stayed at is not in the best condition. The carpet is not in the best condition, and I think the property is not well maintained. The front desk staff weren't overly friendly. We will not stay there again.
